Adapted by Lada Kaštelan and directed by Livija Pandur, the newest Croatian National Theatre Varaždin piece Waiting For Orestes, which will be performed at Lovrjenac as part of the rich drama programme of the 75th Dubrovnik Summer Festival, provides an understanding of the character of Elektra as well as points out the importance of female characters in Greek tragedy.
